Marche Ste Anne Garlic Fest – On Saturday, August 24, Marche Ste-Anne will present the 13th edition of its garlic festival, which will be held from 9 am to 4 pm at the water’s edge in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue. This event is extremely popular with garlic lovers and any kind of foody. The Garlic Fest was the first of its kind in Quebec and it remains the largest, with more than 5,000 visitors last year! On the program: tastings, music and garlic workshops in abundance. Free entry.
Over thirty merchants at this years Marche Ste Anne Garlic Fest
The festival will welcome about thirty garlic producers, offering garlic in bulb, in braids, as well as transformed products. These producers are added to all the merchants usually present at Marche Ste-Anne, some of which are certified organic. The range of products available will range from breads and pastries to meats, including jams, coffee, teas, fermented products, flowers, jewellery, as well as all fresh products: eggs, cheese, fruits and vegetables.
The festival is just a step away from a beautiful selection of restaurants on the boardwalk. There’s something for everyone: French bistros, Irish pubs, Thai soups, Indian curries, Italian wood-fired pizza, and Spanish tapas.
Marche Ste Anne Garlic Fest workshops and contests
Workshops will be given throughout the day, including workshops on different varieties and how to cultivate garlic ; two workshops presented by Dan Brisebois (member of the Tourne-Sol cooperative farm). You want to learn how to braid garlic – you will be in the right place. Come and discover fermented black garlic and much more! The festival-goers will be invited to vote for the most beautiful kiosk, the winner will be unveiled at the end of the day.

$2 tickets for a chance to win one of three baskets packed with products from our 55 merchants. Garlic colored t-shirts will also be available for purchase.
PARKING: Free parking is available in public parking lots on St-Pierre Street, Ste-Anne Street and Christie Street. Additional parking is also available at the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue train station (an 8-minute walk from the site), and at John Abbott College (a 10-minute walk from the site).
