Free OSM online concert – With all the closures in Montreal implemented towards containing the spread of the Covid-19 virus, many shows, events and sport games have been cancelled or postponed. People have been left holding tickets in their hands and although refunds are being offered to most, it still leaves them without the entertainment they were looking forward to. However, those who enjoy the Orchestre symphonique de Montreal concerts are being an offered an opportunity to ‘watch, listen and stay in touch’ with the OSM and classical music. If you can’t get out to the symphony, the symphony can come to you – in your own home. Since last week the OSM has been offering free, online concerts on their website every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with most conducted by the Maestro himself, Kent Nagano. Whether you want to sit back with your pajamas on or feel inspired to dress up as if you were going to the concert, below is the schedule for this week:
*Videos are available on their website – starting on the date indicated. If you miss the scheduled time, you still have the opportunity to watch and listen to some of the concerts that will be streaming on the site for up to 4 days. So raise a baton (or glass of wine) and go to.
