Montreal snow storm on its way

Montreal snow storm

Environment Canada has sent out a warning that a major snow storm is headed towards parts of Quebec. The snow system is coming up from the U.S. Eastern Seaboard.

The one good thing about the snow is the weather will warm up from our fridged temperatures of -20 today.

The snow should start sometime Tuesday February 2, 2021 and should continue into Wednesday. The storm system will bring moderate winds which will cause blowing snow as well.

At this time it is a warning from Environment Canada and is some what unclear has to the amounts that will be dumped on us. The Montreal area is expected to receive up to 20 cm. The Quebec City area should receive up to 30 cm.

And for all you skiers out there more snow is expected at the end of the week.
