Eastern Townships’ Virtuoso, Serge-André Jones Drops New Album in February Ahead of Bromont Show

Serge-André Jones

MONTREAL, January 12, 2026 — Virtuoso, creative, and versatile pianist from Sutton, Serge-André Jones unveils his new album De l’autre côté (On the Other Side), a work where music, introspection, and emotion converge to offer a singular journey through his artistic universe. The album will be released on February 13, 2026, followed by a launch concert at the Bromont Cultural Centre on February 21.

Laval and UdeM Grad

Serge-André Jones began playing piano at the age of six and pursued classical performance studies at Université Laval under Francis Dubé,, before completing a master’s degree at the Université de Montréal with Paul Stewart. Eager to perform before live audiences, he developed solo shows that blend virtuosity, charisma, and humor, captivating both seasoned music lovers and the general public alike. In 2025, he took part in Télé-Québec’s program Piano public, hosted by Grégory Charles and Viviane Audet, sharing his talent and musical world with a wide audience.

Country Living in the Eastern Townships

Now living in the countryside of the Eastern Townships (Estrie), Serge-André draws fresh inspiration from nature, which he translates into De l’autre côté: an album that is both mesmerizing and contemplative, where imagination and introspection meet virtuosity and emotion.

Three Singles

Three singles from the album were released last year, including “Forgive Me a piece inspired by requests for forgiveness—an effort to bring clarity to the twists and pains of a separation, highlighting accountability and the impact of our actions on others. The single Le Tunnel”, in an ecstatic and grandiose surge, evokes the long-awaited relief and liberation from a recurring situation in which one can be trapped for years. Finally, “Le Courant” was born from a dream and a springtime walk along a river, reflecting the flow of musical ideas as they stream, intertwine, and eventually fade at day’s end.

The works range from solo piano pieces to compositions for piano and string quartet. The album reveals the artist’s inner world: gentleness and strength, subtlety and vulnerability, resilience and emotion intertwine to create an intimate and profound musical journey.

Other shows

Each piece invites listeners to discover the artist’s “other side”—of the pen and of the man. Serge-André Jones will also perform on March 20, 2026 at Auberge des Glacis in L’Islet (Chaudière-Appalaches), and on April 2, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. at the Alec and Gérard-Pelletier Hall in Sutton.
