Beginnings

In 2007, Shai Medalsy founded Stone Rose with the goal to modify the standard in which men’s shirts were being crafted. His goal was to create a garment that was elevated in its design, without sacrificing in its comfort.  For years leading up to the launch of Stone Rose, Medalsy worked in his family’s garment business studying, refining and adjusting his patterns to create the perfect fit, while tirelessly sourcing quality technical fabrics that would complement his approach. In 2009, Medalsy partnered with his childhood friend Jonathan Torjman, now co-owner and Sales Director who shared the same vision and has become instrumental in ensuring that Stone Rose is accessible in hundreds of the finest boutiques and department stores across North America. Stone Rose is fueled by creativity and evolution with a promise to deliver what is current. We believe that to truly “Live in the Now,” one must dress for it.

Always Innovating

We develop all fabrics with intention and precision; we assure quality and comfort and have built trust and loyalty by providing our customers with a selection of innovative fabrics that serve a purpose. Natural cotton, with 4-way stretch, high-breathability, anti-microbial, moisture-wicking and crease-resistant properties are incorporated in our fabrications with our customers’ lifestyle at the forefront of each decision.

Our Prints are Designed In House

The Stone Rose customer wants to feel comfortable in exploring self-expression. Our unique, custom-designed prints provide brand distinction and exclusivity. Every season we craft a combination of curated prints that are both on-trend and forward-thinking, bookended by sophistication and fun.

Natural Jersey Knit ShirtsIt’s all in the Details

The smallest details leave the biggest impression.  We take pride in our attention to detail on our casual shirts, dress shirts, and high-thread count shirts. Ours are practical because they are intentional; from contrast stitch and interior taping to hidden under-collar buttons and gussets, our garment design always starts with context.

Finger on the Pulse

The Stone Rose design studio is based in Montreal, Canada, while the sales office is based out of Miami, Florida. Strategically, it has allowed us to keep our finger on the pulse by borrowing first hand perspective from our two most valuable markets. This, combined with the research and development across Europe, lends us the global inspiration and insight that is essential to our designs and discovering what is new, next and now.
