Legal marijuana business – Buying or working in the marijuana industry might be legal in Canada next month but according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office you will be denied entry to the United States of America.

On October 17, 2018 in Canada, marijuana will be legal to buy and smoke across the country. However if you are planning a trip to the United States think twice. The U.S. does not plan on changing its border policies to account for Canada’s new laws on legalizing marijuana. The United States of America does not recognize legal marijuana as a legal business.

Canadians crossing the boarder who like to smoke the occasional marijuana should keep that to themselves otherwise they might be refused entry into the land of the free.

People that work or have connections with the new legalized business have been already placed on a lifetime ban in entering the United States.

Unites States border patrol officers will not ask about marijuana use but the questioning could lead there if marijuana smoke is smelt or a dog detects marijuana residue.
