MONTREAL, July 17, 2025 – The AfroMonde Festival, a highlight of Montreal’s summer season, returns in full force for its 17th edition from August 22 to 24, 2025. The Quai de l’Horloge in the Old Port of Montreal will come alive with a vibrant, colourful, and international artistic lineup celebrating diversity.
With a mission to promote multiculturalism and foster intercultural exchange, the AfroMonde Festival invites the public to an immersive experience under the theme “Harmony”, featuring music, visual arts, gastronomy, fashion, and technological innovation.
Electrifying performances
Each day, the main stage will host electrifying performances, headlined by renowned Pan-African artists such as Racoon and High Klassified on opening night, Zach Zoya, Vibe Benders on Saturday, Wesliand Dj Bullet for the closing concert on Sunday. Starting at 5 p.m., performances will also feature Jeekay, the Senegalese Choir of Montreal, and Plame OKT, among others.
Family-friendly activities
In addition to concerts, the festival offers a wide range of family-friendly activities spread across various thematic zones: food, fashion, technology, dance, and more. Visitors will also discover passionate exhibitors showcasing handicrafts, visual arts, textile creations, and an eclectic and delicious culinary selection that blends local traditions with international flavours.
The AfroMonde Festival Carnival will close the festivities on Sunday, August 24, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. It promises a colourful parade reflecting the rich cultural diversity celebrated over the three days and will spotlight Barbados.
Festival entry is FREE, but supporter passes are available for $3, offering 20% discounts with exhibitors and the opportunity to actively support the festival’s mission and local artisans.
