West Island RibFest 2022 Eight-Year Partnership with FlightHub and Big Brothers Big Sisters FlightHub has been working with Big Brothers Big Sisters West Island for close to a decade and will be sponsoring Ribfest for the third year in a row.
Summer means one thing for Big Brothers Big Sisters West Island – RIBFEST!
Ribfest is the biggest fundraising event of the year for Big Brothers Big Sisters West Island, bringing in approximately 50% of annual revenue for the agency, says Megan Semenchuk, Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters West Island (BBBSWI).
“Funds raised at the festival through donation collection, as well as merchandise and drink sales, will go back to our three core programs, which help ensure the youth in our community are well-supported to reach their full potential.”
The event will be back in full swing this year and will be bigger than ever before. This year’s Ribfest will feature live music, a beer garden, a brand new kids zone, newly expanded vendors market and of course ribs and other barbeque favourites like pulled pork and macaroni and cheese.

Ribfest takes place August 12th to 14th, 11am-9pm at 13665 Pierrefonds Boulevard, Pierrefonds, Quebec. Admission is free but donations upon entry are highly encouraged.
