Aire Commune opens two new awesome spots in Montreal

Aire Commune is pleased to announce not one, not two, but three temporary coworking and event spaces in Montreal this summer. As well as the popular site in Mile End, the team is dropping anchor at the entrance of the Old Port, with its new project : Nouvelle Vague. Another new space, Green haüs,  will come to life in the heart of the District Central, the well known fashion district of Chabanel. Moreover, the team adds another new space: Green haüs , a green oasis that will come to life in the heart of the District Central, the well known fashion district of Chabanel. These three innovative spaces will be offered without charge to the workers and the citizens of the neighbourhood. People come to work in the open air but also for the program of professional and cultural events of all sorts. Conferences, Lunch and Learn, training and other festive events will be on the menu.

AIRE COMMUNE MILE END – Summer’s essential

With more than 80 000 visitors in 2018, Aire Commune Mile End has proved itself. Its immense 5000 square foot terrace, breathtaking sunsets and container meeting rooms make the site perfect for open air work and for the best Happy Hour in town.

The kick-off will happen on the 16th of May with invited artists The Holy, RapMommies and Planet Giza. This year, Gypsy Kitchen+Bar has the mandate to nourish the famished and several street-food trucks will come for summer’s hot moments.What’s new? A development fund for neighbourhood organizations, indigenous vegetation containers, no plastic and on-site composting. As well, dogs are still allowed! The project is once again made possible by the support of the Plateau Mont Royal borough.

New site bordering on the Lachine Canal

The Aire Commune team is proud to announce the upcoming opening of a new space, adjacent to the locks, at the entrance to the Old Port. Accessible by McGill and de la Commune Streets, this exterior coworking space opens on the 30th of May, offering the same services as the parent-project. Imagine the scene: your team gathers for an open air brainstorming session or for a relaxed debriefing, with the setting sun painting a panorama on the mythical silos of Vieux Montreal. The magic of the site is more than palpable.

An oasis of greenery at the heart of a new business district

La Societe de developpement commerciale (SDC) District Central and the Aire Commune team have come together to create a new project: Green haüs. This space will come to life at the intersection of Louvain Street and de l’Esplanade Avenue, on the 13th of June. Inspired by the Aire Commune model but with its own DNA, the Green haüs site will be a destination of choice for the workers of this fast growing district.

Offering a set-up propitious to open-air working, Green haüs will stand out with its program focussed on the main business poles of the district; design, urban manufacturing and technology. Its mission: to be a lever for the development of the district’s young businesses, to actively participate in revitalizing the neighbourhood, its reputation and to help attract and retain talent. A program of music will be unveiled as the summer progresses. The project is once again made possible by the support of the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough.
