Amazon Canada has opened its first warehouse for business in Quebec and it’s located in Lachine. The warehouse will supply small goods to Montrealers such as, books, toys, electronics and more.

The warehouse in Lachine has created over 300 full-time jobs with wages starting at $16 per hour.

Amazon site leader Jean-Francois Heroux released a statement saying, “This milestone will allow us to better serve our local customers, along with the thousands of local small businesses that work with Amazon to bring their products to customers across the province and around the world.”

Amazon Canada now has 13 warehouse’s throughout Canada. Other Canadian provinces which have a Amazon warehouse our: Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia.
