A staple in the Beaconsfield community since 1994 has closed its doors for good. Black Lion Pub and Homestyle Bakery shut its doors for the last time.
People living in and around Beaurepaire Village were stunned to hear the news that their coffee shop and local pub closed. “It was one of the most beautiful pubs I have ever seen and was an institution in our village, it will sadly be missed,” said one resident.
The building has been sold.
