The Provinc4 of Quebec have received their first shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is much easier to transport and does not need to be stored in ultra-cold temperatures.
The vaccine will start to be given out early next week and will be given to the remote areas of Quebec, mostly for Indigenous people in the northern Quebec.
At this point only 25,000 Quebecers have received a dose of the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine.
