Looks like mid-April wearing mandatory masks will be lifted except when on public transit. Health Minister Christian Dubé said, “Wearing a mask, even when it is no longer mandatory, will be part of the arsenal we have to reduce the risk of transmission in certain circumstances.”

The new mask wearing rules will not apply in workplaces and health-care offices.

Remember Quebec has not ruled out bringing back any health care measure that has been lifted or bringing back the vaccine passport and mask mandates.

Vincent Marissal, MNA for Rosemont also asked the government to remove the state of emergency.
