The Quebec Premier Francois Legault made Christmas come a little sooner this year with his press conference this afternoon.

The curfew will be lifted across the province of Quebec May 28, 2021.

Quebec getting back to normal

Quebec new COVID-19 restrictions:

  • May 28th – 2,500 people will be allowed in a theatre or arena (Go Habs Go)
  • May 28th – Private home will be allowed to have outdoor gatherings up to eight people
  • May 28th – Restaurants will be able to serve on patios and terraces
  • As of May 31 most of Quebec will be in a orange zone and will be able to serve indoor dining in restaurants
  • Orange zones gyms will be allowed to open again May 31st
  • All children will be sent back to school as of May 31st
  • Bars will be able to open their terraces on June 11th
  • June 14th people from different home will be allowed to gather
  • June 14th bars will be allowed to open fully
  • June 25th fully vaccinated people will be able to assemble indoors without masks
  • June 25th outdoor festivals will be allowed
  • June 25th Summer camps will open for children

By the end of August, most mask requirements will be lifted, depending on the vaccination rates.
