With this 15th edition redesigned and adapted to the current context, Urban outdoor cinema is renewing itself with a program celebrating the joy of living in Montreal. An unmissable event for moviegoers in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles. Starting this Thursday, the first screening presented by Les Filministes will highlight a selection of short films exploring the links between feminisms and cinema.
Developed by Jarrett Mann, artistic director of Kino Montreal in collaboration with the Society for Arts and Technology, the 2021 program highlights the creativity of Montreal film festivals, by partnering with the Filministes Festival, Haïti en Folie (in partnership with the Montreal International Black Film Festival), Fantasia, Film POP and the Festival du nouveau cinema.
“I am honored to be associated with this unifying project. This will be an opportunity for several festivals to reconnect with their audiences in person for the first time in too long. “- Jarrett Mann
