Together they bring a formidable array of skills to the table, combining media expertise with social media savvy.

“We believe that there are women in our community with inspiration, knowledge and strategies to share,” Diamond says. “As role models in our society, we can’t wait for our audience to be empowered by our speakers’ message and journey.” The speakers list is a who’s who of women in Montreal media: Isabelle Racicot (TV & Radio Host and founder Picoum), Catherine Verdon-Diamond (Breakfast Television), Laura Casella (Anchor Global News), Natasha Garguilo (TV Host & Host Virgin Radio) Mariella Katz (Frenzr), Lori Krebs (Lori K PR), Karen Macdonald (Station Manager and News Director Global News), Sarah Deshaies (Producer CJAD), Priya Chopra (1Milk2Sugars PR), France-Michèle Thomas (Citoyen), Marie-Emmanuelle Khoury (Weber Shandwick).

Media Women Montreal will bring together 3 panels of TV/Radio Journalists, Producers/Editors and PR/Social Media Experts giving aspiring journalists, producers, and PR students the opportunity to hear firsthand the stories of the panelists’ career trajectories, ask questions, and learn from these experts. Lots of interactive sharing will be key.: “We want our audience to really have the experience to interact with our speakers,” Diamond says.
