Where to celebrate Halloween this year in Montreal? – Halloween is around the corner and if you are a Hocus Pocus fan that enjoys costumes, pumpkins and candle lights, you probably want to celebrate Halloween in style and join one of these not-to-be-missed themed parties. And, to make it even more interesting, there are Halloween parties almost every day from October 27th until October 31st this year in Montreal. Good thing Halloween is falling on a Wednesday this year, we have a whole week to celebrate !

Saturday October 27th

  • The Great Mascarade at the Top of the Observatory 

 

The great Halloween mascarade of the Montreal Observatory will be conducted on the 46th floor of Place Ville-Marie by DJMTL, while a cozy lounge atmosphere will await you on the 45th floor for a glamorous and unforgettable “masked” evening. You will be able to enjoy unbeatable views of downtown Montreal while sipping on delicious cocktails and enjoy some great music at this chic black tie evening.

With no power left at the oldest Montreal Mansion , it’s time to celebrate Halloween in the pitch black. Feel your way through the winding tunnels and secret passageways of the most popular (and spooky) Haunted House in Montreal. Hone your senses as information comes at you in mysterious ways. Dance like a freak knowing nobody’s watching. A Veuve Clicquot night like no other hosted by the party masters of L’Auberge. WARNING: It is a true blackout experience. Be prepared. Not for the faint of heart.

Sunday October 28th

  • A night in Hell at La Voûte

On October 26th, 27th, 28th and 31st of October 2018, you are invited to live the most demoniac nights of your life. Devilish and possessed creatures will greet you for three nights of Hell at La Voûte, the popular nightclub located in an old bank vault, six feet under… Let yourself be haunted by the bloodiest programming of the year, worthy of the greatest horror movies: terrifying choreography, a haunted circuit, and more than 20 actors and dancers for a Halloween full of chills, panic and horror.

  • CRUEL LOVE Party at Flyjin 
Flyjin, located in the basement of an ancient Old Montreal building, is the perfect place to “disappear” on Halloween night. Take advantage of that one night a year everybody pretends to be somebody else. Dress in black. Flyjin will provide the masks. DJS Adrian Mitchell, David A. and Donald Lauture got the soundtrack. Become somebody else for a few hours. Find out who’s lurking in your shadow. There’s a dark side to everything—don’t miss your chance to explore it on Halloween night at Flyjin, the speakeasy bar that always been recognized for their genius themed parties.

  • Yelpoween at Le Château Saint-Ambroise


This year, the annual Yelp Halloween party will take place across the bar and heated patio of the Riverside in St.Henri. Since this year’s venue is located in an old warehouse, the theme was quite easy to come up with: APOCALYPSE – an end of the world, zombie party! At this free Halloween party organized by the popular mobile application, guests can expect zombie sightings, spooky decors, and outrageous costumes. Bites and cocktails are also provided.
