MONTREAL, July 14, 2025 – After a sold out run in four cities across Canada, comedian and content creator Julie Nolke is happy to announce her 2025 comedy tour Dying On The Outside will visit Montreal, Ottawa and Hamilton. Directed by Gwynne PhillipsDying On The Outside is a full length one woman sketch comedy performance featuring Nolke’s deepest, darkest inner workings all with a hilarious spin. 

Known for her hugely successful sketch comedy channel on YouTube with 1.1 million subscribers, Julie Nolke takes her signature humour from screen to stage. In Dying On The Outside, Nolke addresses dark themes that will have audiences giggling uncomfortably in the best way. Loyal and new fans alike will laugh, and potentially cry, all at the same time with classic favs like Mirror Julie, along with new sketches.

Julie Nolke is an award-winning actor, writer, filmmaker and the creator of her self-titled comedy YouTube channel. She has won three Webby Awards, been nominated for a Canadian Screen Award and two Streamy Awards, and has twice won Excellence in Writing at Toronto’s prestigious Buffer Festival. Julie is best known for her viral online series Explaining the Pandemic to my Past Self(~65 million views).

While writing, producing, editing and acting in content for the web, Julie also works in film and TV. Recent credits include: The Wedding Rule (W Network), Run the ‘Burbs (CBC/Hulu), What We Do in the Shadows (FX), Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), Coroner (CBC/Apple TV), Odd Squad (PBS), TallBoyz (CBC), Workin’ Moms (CBC/Netflix), and Cabin Connection (Super Channel). 

Gwynne Phillips is an award-winning actor, writer, director, and producer based in Toronto. She is half of the acclaimed sketch comedy duo The Templeton Philharmonic.
