Mile Ex End Music Fest extends your summer

Mile Ex End Music Fest – The Mile End is a groovy part of town where you can find a wide variety of artists, musicians and cultures.  In this 10 block neighbourhood, nestled between Le Plateau du Mont-Royal and Little Italy there are some great little restaurants, cafes and of course bagels.

It is also home to The Mile Ex End Music Fest which began two years ago.  With an interesting assortment of artists, bands and comedians, this festival has something for everyone.  Featuring some big headliners like Feist, Chromeo, Daniel Lanois, there also some fantastic local artists as well.

If you are a fan of electronica music or want to experience something new and different, A Tribe Called Red will surely grab your attention.

Based in Ottawa, this electronic music group, who blend instrumental hip hop, reggae, and dubstep-influenced dance music with elements of First Nations music, (like chanting and drumming) are quite phenomenal.

The Mile Ex End Fest is a great way to enjoy some authentic Montreal flavor with live entertainment and food trucks without breaking your budget.

The tickets are reasonably priced, you can purchase 1 day or 4 day passes and children under 12 are free (when accompanied by an adult.)
