Tremblant Officially Opens Ski Season on November 27, 2025

Tremblant opens ski season

Mont-Tremblant, October 28, 2025 – As winter draws near, Tremblant is preparing to welcome its first snow and embrace the cold season. On Thursday, November 27, ski and snowboard lovers can mark the season’s official opening with a DJ, hot chocolate, a red carpet, and the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony. Heading into winter 2025–26, Tremblant continues to stand out as a top winter destination, thanks to a packed events schedule, a lively pedestrian village, and memorable experiences that reach far beyond skiing. The village’s story unfolds in every encounter, experience, and unexpected moment—a warm human mosaic that makes Tremblant unlike anywhere else.

Tremblant—Montréal-Trudeau shuttle service back for the season

The Orléans Express Keolis airport shuttle operated by Skyport will once again connect Montréal—Trudeau International Airport (YUL) to Mont-Tremblant from December 18, 2025, to April 5, 2026, with bookings now made directly on Tremblant’s website. Getting to Mont-Tremblant is a simple and seamless experience, aboard a high-end, luxury coach. The service is designed to support overnight and extended stays in Tremblant, with two round trips offered each Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Full details soon available on Tremblant.ca.

Two major events to kick off the season

On December 6 and 7, 2025, Tremblant will welcome the highly anticipated PwC Tremblant World Cup. In this Olympic year, the resort stands as the sole World Cup stop in the Northeast. Spectators will, therefore, have the chance to see the world’s best female skiers take on the Flying Mile. In addition to the two women’s giant slalom events, the weekend is shaping up to be quite a celebration, with a high-energy show from Les Trois Accords on Saturday night. An exciting, not-to-be-missed weekend to add the calendar again this year.

The celebrations will continue the following weekend as the resort marks the 25thanniversary of the Tremblant 24h. For this 25-year milestone, taking place December 12 to 14, the organization has unveiled 25 public figures supporting the cause, along with 12 sponsored children, who will serve as this edition’s inspiring stories of hope and solidarity. The festivities include an opening parade that highlights the standout moments from the event’s quarter-century history, a reinvented midnight celebration, and a reunion bringing together participants, personalities, and key figures involved in the event over the years.

At the same time, children 12 and under will have the chance to ski for free at Tremblant during “Kids Ski Free Week”, which runs from December 6 to 12. Youths can also enjoy 50% off group lessons and rentals and 20% off junior accessories in select resort shops.

A full lineup of holiday festivities

Back by popular demand, Luminosa returns to the Saint-Bernard Chapel this year. In the glow of candlelight, Philippe Le Bon—composer, pianist and multi-instrumentalist—will offer two intimate performances: a tribute to Céline Dion’s timeless repertoire and a journey through the great classics of cinema. The performances will alternate across three periods this winter: December 19 to January 3, February 14 to 21, and March 14 to 21. For details and tickets, click here.

Guests staying on-site can enjoy Les Jardins de glace, a magical winter playground perfect for families and friends. The outdoor space includes a snow hill where children can slide freely, an illuminated skating rink with complimentary skate rentals for resort guests, and Bavarian curling for all to enjoy. After the fun, young and old can warm up by the outdoor firepit and soak in the festive village atmosphere.

Over the years, Tremblant’s New Year’s Eve celebrations have become a beloved tradition. The party starts with an open-air dance party at Place St. Bernard, followed by the famous torchlight descent at the foot of the slopes, with DJ Christian Alarie spinning tunes into the new year. This year, a brand-new drone show will also light up the night sky at the base of the mountain in time for the countdown to 2026.
