Lasso Montreal Country music festival – Local fans of country music won’t have to travel south to Nashville this summer to catch performances by their favourite country and western music stars of today, as evenko and Live Nation, in association with Universal Music Canada, presents the inaugural edition of the Lasso Montreal country music festival, which will make its home on the range at Parc Jean Drapeau on August 14 and 15.

However, the day before the festival begins, Lasso Montreal will have an urban cowboy feel to it with the Lasso in the City show on August 13, with more details to follow at a later date.

At Parc Jean Drapeau’s Espace 67 venue, the sounds of top notch country music will fill the space with performances by Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, Old Dominion, Morgan Wallen, Gabby Barrett from American Idol, as well as Canadian country stars Brett Kissel and Matt Lang. A further line-up of talent for the third stage shows will be revealed in the near future.

Passes for Lasso Montreal are now on sale, with general admission passes costing $199.99, and Gold Festival passes costing $399.99, which includes VIP access to the Lasso Terrace, a multi-level platform that will allow a premium view of the main stage, as well as exclusive food and beverage kiosks. Single day festival passes will also be available for sale at a later date. To purchase Lasso Montreal passes, go to www.lassomontreal.com.
