Quebec homeless curfew suspended by Quebec Superior Court

Quebec homeless curfew suspended

The homeless of Quebec were represented in Quebec Superior Court by a group called Clinique Juridique Itinérante about the Provincial government making the homeless respect the Quebec curfew that was imposed to all Quebecers January 8th, 2021.

The Quebec Superior Court Justice Chantal Masse delivered the decision in the Montreal courthouse today. It was a five page ruling that ended with, “suspend the application of (an article in the government’s January 8 decree) as to people in a situation of homelessness.”
