Columbus receives Max Domi and a third-round pick (78th overall) in 2020 in return.

Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin announced today that the team has acquired forward Josh Anderson from the Columbus Blue Jackets, in return for forward Max Domi and a third-round pick in 2020 (78th overall).

Anderson, 26, collected four points (1 goal, 3 assists) in 26 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2019-20 in addition to serving 17 penalty minutes. The right-handed forward sustained a shoulder injury on December 14, 2019, which ended his season. Anderson has amassed 65 goals and 50 assists in 267 NHL career games with Columbus.

The 6’3” and 222 lbs right-winger had his best season in the NHL in 2017-18 when he tallied 27 goals and 47 points in 82 games. Anderson has also produced three goals and five assists in 21 NHL career playoff games.
