Prime Minister Just Trudeau implied all Canadians should not be planning on leaving the country for vacation or any other reason because the Emergencies Act could be called upon. If the Emergencies Act is taken into action this means all Canadians outside of the country will not be allowed to return home at any given moment.

Also the travel could be limited between provinces in Canada if the Emergencies Act is evoked.

Emergencies Act invoked- All Canadians should not be planning on leaving the country or travelling between provinces due to the fact of the Emergencies Act might be invoked.

The government of Canada has also explained the Emergencies Act is not something any government takes lightly. The Canadian government is more concerned for the safety and health of all Canadians.

Prime Minister Trudeau is in active talks with all Premiers of different options and safety measures to further limit travel to limit the spread of COVID-19.

The new regulations will be announced in a few days and should be expected sooner than later.

Canada is also looking at placing COVID-19 quick testing stations along the Canada – United States boarders for land entry.
