The city of Montreal started to offer free parking last fall to help boost traffic and sales for the holiday season in the downtown core. This was to help struggling merchants to keep their doors open due to the economic disaster of COVID-19.

At this point only 430,000 plus doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered since December 14, 2020. That is roughly only 5,650 vaccines given a day. Pharmacists will be allowed to give the vaccine as of mid March or early April depending on the number of COVID-19 vaccines Quebec receives. This new deal was signed with the government this past week. Over 1,500 pharmacies have signed up for this program out of the 3,000 in Quebec.
