The wait is finally over as the Premier of Quebec announced that restaurants and gyms will be allowed to open as of June 7.
Montreal Restaurants will be allowed to serve customers inside their dinning rooms as of June 7, the first time since mid October 2020.

As far as the cases of COVID-19 in Quebec there has been a steady decline with an average of only 339 new cases per day in the last week.
The premier of Quebec encouraged all residents in gathering outside rather than in. Premier Francois Legault said, “even if it means to move a TV outside to watch the Habs as they move onto the second round of the NHL playoffs. We must stay very careful with indoor gatherings.”
“We need to keep our distance and wear masks until we have our second dose of the vaccine,” added Premier Legault.

When will we be able in moving up our second vaccine?
Premier Francois Legault said that he will be announcing Thursday this week more details on Quebecers being able to move up their appointment to receive their second COVID-19 vaccine given the increase of vaccine’s Quebec has received.
The Quebec public health director Dr. Horacio Arruda said most likely their will be a rise in cases due to relaxed restrictions of COVID-19 however, they do not thing it will jeopardize the healthcare system. Also the government is being very careful lifting all the restrictions too quickly.
