Hutson will face off against special guests and Montreal Canadiens legends Patrice Brisebois and Paul Byron
Hush, a rising direct to consumer sleep brand, is teaming up with NHL star Lane Hutson for a one-of-a-kind Hockey Skills Challenge that Montréal Canadiens fans won’t want to miss. The event, happening on Thursday August 28 2025 at 5:30pm, at Complexe Sportif CN in Brossard, will raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Montreal. All proceeds from ticket sales will help ensure families with sick children have a comfortable, free place to stay close to life-saving medical care.
Co-hosted by Hush and Hutson, this event celebrates Lane’s standout rookie season, and their shared commitment to giving back. Fans will get an exciting opportunity to watch the rising star demonstrate his skills through a series of hockey drills and challenges. Adding to the excitement, Hutson will face off against special guests and Montreal Canadiens legends Patrice Brisebois and Paul Byron in front of a passionate hometown crowd.

“During my first season here, I wanted to make a local impact that felt personal,” said Hutson. “This event is a chance to bring the community together in a meaningful way. It’s an honour to have the chance to partner with Hush and the Ronald McDonald House to support kids and families who inspire me every day.”
Hutson’s partnership with Hush began in December 2024, when they joined forces to deliver a holiday donation to Ronald McDonald House Montreal on Christmas Eve. The spirit of giving back has remained central to their collaboration, along with the belief that better sleep leads to better performance in all areas of life.
“At Hush, we’ve always believed that rest is a powerful tool for recovery, resilience, and performance,” said Phil Besner, President of Hush. “This partnership with Lane is especially meaningful because it aligns so closely with these values and our longstanding commitment to giving back. Together, we’re using sleep as a tool to empower people and bring great rest to those who need it most.”
VIP ticket holders and families from Ronald McDonald House will have the chance to meet Lane Hutson and take photos with him ahead of the public event. General admission tickets are $30, and VIP tickets are $180 (taxes and fees included) — limited to just 50 spots which include premium seating, a goody bag, and exclusive access to Lane for the 30 minutes meet & greet. All ticket proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Montreal, and a special item will be auctioned off at the end of the event.
Tickets are available now on epasslive.com for Montreal based fans looking to celebrate the great sport of hockey, and support an amazing cause. This event is produced in collaboration with MVP Sports Marketing.
