Palomosa part deux welcomes Montrealers to kick off the festival in style

Palomosa 2025 Montreal

Montréal, September 3rd, 2025 — Thursday, at 5 p.m., Palomosa welcomes you at Parc Jean-Drapeau for a second edition already shaping up to be iconic. To kick things off and heat up the dance floor right from the start, the festival opens with an open-air Block Party, presented by Piknic Électronik Montréal, on Thursday, September 4Palomosa returns with one last summer breath to extend the season until the very last note.

It’s FREE!

Born in 2024, this brand-new festival is already establishing itself as a free, curious, and connected space where club culture, web culture, community spirit, and a real desire to party come together. For its 2nd edition, from September 4 to 6 at Parc Jean-DrapeauPalomosa is hitting hard: an unmissable lineup featuring, among others, the ultimate icon M.I.A., viral prodigy Nettspend, breakthrough artist ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, and the incomparable boldness of ArcaPalomosa 2025 will sound like nothing else under the golden skies of Montreal’s back-to-school season. If you go, you know.

A Block Party presented by Piknic Électronik

The kickoff will happen on Thursday, September 4 at 5 PM with an open-air Block Party, followed by two electrifying festival days across two stages. Palomosa is the sonic and visual shock Montreal’s youth have been waiting for, where web culture dives deep into music for iconic moments.

And the lineup is seriously polished: after electrifying crowds at Glastonbury and DoLab, the one and only Zack Fox lands in Montréal for a DJ set infused with Ghetto Tech, Jersey Club, Footwork, and Booty Bass. A high-energy vibe, wild flow, and an unmatched party sense. Next stops? Portola, III Points… and Palomosa! Opening up is our certified local legend of moves, TALLANDSKIINNY. Groove, style, and 100% contagious energy.

This Block Party sets the tone: Palomosa is 3 days of non-stop celebration, a festival made for those who live loud, love to dance long, and want to fill up on collective emotions together, outdoors.

A lineup that’s 100% vibe, 100% Palomosa

Palomosa sounds like nothing else! Proof of this is its sharp lineup that promises to give festivalgoers no respite.

This second edition marks the return of the legendary M.I.A., an iconic figure of global political pop and electro, whose anthems Paper Planes and Bad Girls still echo in the collective memory. Her return to Montréal, after more than ten years away, will be one of the summer’s highlights — a cult concert in the making.

Alongside her, a generation of cutting-edge artists all gathered to shake the ground and flood the networks. Nettspend, a viral sensation straight from the underground scene and TikTok feeds, arrives on their first Canadian tour with saturated basslines and the hit DrankdrankdrankFcukers deliver ultra-physical energy: an explosive live set, full-on breakbeats, ruthless drops — it’s where you come to lose your mind and find your body.

TDJ, a rising star from the Montréal scene who’s conquered international stages across Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Americas, will unveil his project SPF Infini, in collaboration with the legendary Berlin label Live From Earth: a journey through club culture, euphoria, and nostalgia. For pure intensity, Marie Davidson will deliver an electro live show made for the gut, fueled by her new album produced by Soulwax — raw sounds, frontal emotion.

But Palomosa is also a space for radical creation: Arca, a key figure in experimental music and global pop avant-garde, will perform for the very first time in Montréal. A performance awaited as a moment of grace and chaos, somewhere between total sonic aesthetics and queer transcendence. Finally, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, a Japanese DJ on a meteoric rise, revealed by Boiler Room, will make their Canadian debut — a set already shaping up to be legendary.

Two free shows at Jardins Gamelin + two official after-parties!

A few last-minute touches have been added around the festival to spread those authentic Palo vibes all across the city.

For those who know the party doesn’t stop until the early hours, the festival keeps rolling with two official after-parties at Société des arts technologiques [SAT] on September 5 & 6.

As part of back-to-school season and its partnership with Jardins Gamelin, Palomosa invites you to two free events at Jardins Gamelin on Wednesday, September 3 and Thursday, September 4—showcasing the local scene with Audrey Bélanger, Hauterageous: Monib & Siren Mars.

Palomosa is more than a festival: it’s a mood. Inclusive, colourful, and firmly rooted in today’s culture, it’s the place to be for a generation craving vibes, discoveries, and a good dose of unapologetic FOMO. Nestled among the trees of Parc Jean-Drapeau, just steps from the metro, the site hosts two stages: a main stage presented by Fizz, and a second, 360-degree immersive experience stage, the Jardin stage. From 4 PM to 11 PM, over twenty artists will keep the energy pulsing in a space designed for comfort, celebration, and escape.

A diverse food offering — bars, food trucks, and even a mocktail bar for those who want to celebrate alcohol-free — will complete the experience. For a breathtaking view of the main stage, the terrace offers a VIP space. In tune with its audience, Palomosa is also lived online: its brand-new TikTok account @palomosafest gives access to behind-the-scenes, drops, vibes… in short, Palomosa is the festival for a generation that wants to vibe differently.
