Is this the beginning of ‘NO sale’ flood zone properties?

Flood zone properties – Pierrefonds bar Chez Paul was slated to close this past May due to the sale of the property. A developer was going to build a retirement home, however the sale never went through due to the latest flood in May of this year.

The owner of the property would not divulge reasons for the sale not going through.

The city of Pierrefonds is looking at the new flood zone to see if building permits will be granted.

” We are not sure of the new flood zone due to changing flood maps,”, according to Pierrefonds Mayor Jim Beis.

As of now affording to Chez Paul’s Facebook Page, the Pierrefonds bar has not called ‘Last Call!’
