Local Supporting Locals

On March 13, in time for the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, Charity Promotions, in collaboration with Trentadue Entertainment, will be holding a Local Supporting Locals Montreal restaurant take-out and stand-up comedy fundraiser, which will benefit a number of West Island and West End-based charities.

Seventeen restaurants from NDG, Chateauguay, LaSalle, Pointe Claire, Vaudreuil and Hudson, will be participating in the fundraiser, and anyone who orders take-out meals from any of the participating restaurants, $5 from each order will benefit their chosen non-profit or charity.

What Irish Pubs are involved in Local Supporting Locals

The participating restaurants and their chosen non-profit organizations and charities are as follows: West Island — McKibbin’s WI- Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence; Duke & Devine – Nova West Island; Cunningham’s Pub – CMB  Foundation; McKibbin’s Vaudreuil – Soulanges Vaudreuil Palliative Care; Cozy Cafe (Hudson)- Nova Hudson; Kelly Orchard Pointe Claire – WIAIH; Olde Orchard Pointe Claire – Amcal Family; Spice Brothers DDO – On Rock Community Services;  LaBrosse Brewery – Beckett Players Foundation; Les 3 Souers- Light of Dreams.

Montréal (West End) — Olde Orchard (NDG) — Share The Warmth; Olde Orchard (Chateauguay) – La Re-Sources; JoJo Catering LaSalle – Special Olympics Sud West; Blvd Bar & Grill – La Recontre Chateauguoise; Amy Dejeuner – On Rock Community Services.

As well, a 90-minute live online stand-up comedy extravaganza will take place, which is being presented by Jameson Whiskey and Moosehead Breweries; from every ticket sold, $5 will go towards the aforementioned list of charities and non-profits. The show is going to be emceed by Montreal media personalities Mitch Melnick, Kim Sullivan, Tom Whelan and Billal Butt. Featured on the line-up are Ted Bird, Joey Elias, Rodney Ramsey, Leonard Yelle, Abdul Butt, Harrison Weib and Fiona O’Brien.
