2019 Grand Prix Ritz Party – Among the many high society parties and gala fundraisers that are going to be held throughout Grand Prix weekend from June 6 to 8, a new soiree in the latter category will have its inaugural get together at Montreal’s best known high end party venue: the Ritz Carlton Hotel.

The black tie event is being presented by Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ), a non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage peace and social justice by working to eradicate poverty across the globe. It will be hosted by APJ’s Canadian Board members Yannick and Shantelle Bisson, Suzanne Boyd and Natasha Koifman; the emcees for the evening are Patrick Langlois of Rouge FM and Natasha Gargiulo of Virgin Radio. The honouree for this year’s inaugural gala, who will receive APJ’s Peace and Justice Activist Award, is the popular Montreal rock group Arcade Fire. As well, the group will perform at the gala alongside Haitian singer Paul Beaubrun and Haitian DJ/producer Michael Brun.
