Montreal Taco Fest 2025 is Almost Here — What Can You Expect?

Montréal, August 4, 2025 — Taco lovers, rejoice! Taco Fest is back for another mouthwatering and colorful edition in the heart of Montréal’s Old Port. From August 30 to September 1, 2025, the Jacques-Cartier Pier will be transformed into a vibrant Mexican playground featuring over 125 varieties of tacos, tequila and mezcal-based cocktails, fiery Latin music, dance lessons, immersive experiences, and much more.

Over the Labour Day long weekend, festival-goers will dive into a vibrant celebration where they can sample over 150 tacos, both authentic and reinvented. Among the featured vendors: El Molcajete, Tacos Tin Tan, Mochoacanada Creamerie Inc., Marché Tacomex, La Cabane à Chichis, Los TNT Tacos, El Gordo, La Cantina, Restaurant le 514, L’Arepa, L’Estancia, Taco Signature, El Wero, Restaurant la Reina del Sur, Alebrije, L’île du Taco, Tacos Victor, La Toxica, Paella Marisol Inc., La Selva, El Mariachi, Restaurant Agave, Tacochon Inc. and Alma Latina Marché will all be part of the fiesta.

A one-of-a-kind culinary and festive experience

Festival-goers will be able to:

  • Taste over 125 taco creations, from classic to bold and unexpected;
  • Sip on a wide selection of Mexican cocktails, including margaritas, palomas, and micheladas;
  • Join in on salsa and Latin dance classes;
  • Explore the Jarritos Zone, enjoy interactive activities, and relax in a festive setting.
  • Over 100 Hot Sauces to Sample at the Taco Fest Hot Sauce Bar
  • Authentic Mariachi Band, Salsa Dancers, & Live Music.
  • Tequila & Mezcal Tastings with over 30+ Varieties
  • Attendees will join us to vote on the winner of Montreal’s Best Taco – the winner will take home the most coveted Trophy in tacos.

This year’s edition promises to be even more immersive with photo stations, games, culinary workshops, and an atmosphere worthy of the most vibrant Mexican fiestas—all without leaving Montréal!
