Hockey Tournament held in Lachine – Sunday, February 10, 2019. Indeed, it gathered hundreds of people in an atmosphere warm and friendly, and raised more than $ 5,750 for the future Lachine Community and Social Pediatrics Center and other non-profit organizations.  “I am very proud of this first edition! This day brought together a number of people to support different causes and organizations, and the participants had a great time with friends and family. A unifying event for the whole community, which will be enhanced for a second edition in 2020,” Enrico Ciccone, MP for Marquette and Official Opposition critic for sports, recreation and healthy lifestyles.

This success was made possible thanks to the invaluable collaboration of the Lachine borough, the Lachine downtown association, the Caisse Desjardins de Lachine, and above all, thanks to the extraordinary participation of the merchants of Notre-Dame Street. and sponsors of the event. We must also highlight the participation of 55 players and the help of the 30 volunteers present without whom the event could not have taken place.

It should be remembered that eight teams competed at this tournament as part of the Notre-Dame Street revitalization project for the future Lachine Community and Social Pediatrics Center and that three bursaries were awarded to the organizations selected by the teams. finished the tournament in 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions.
