Mad Magazine will no longer be available on newsstands after its August 2019 issue.
Mad magazine issues will still be available at comic book stores and via subscription.
The 67 year old magazine will discontinue creating new material and will rely on its archives and reprint old material. New covers will be produced monthly as well as special editions.
Mad magazine best known cartoon series was SPY vs. SPY and the fold back cover to make a secret drawing.
DC, a division of Warner Brothers which publishes the magazine will still publish special collections and books of MAD.
