Attention Mtl foodies – Chef Antonio Park kicked off the initiative with the AP Sandwich packed with BBQ/kimchi flavours for Café Milano, available on Uber Eats or for takeout for one week only.
Sysco Grand Montréal is pleased to announce its latest gastronomic initiative, #ChefsÀEmporter. Starting today, Canada’s most talented chefs will be paired with 10 Montreal restaurants, contributing a culinary masterpiece to the regular take-out menu. It’s a rare opportunity for foodies to sample some seriously top-notch gourmet food, delivered right to their doorstep. The event runs for 10 delicious weeks with each culinary creation available for only seven days. Don’t miss out on any of these must-try treats! Place your order early!
The event is part of Sysco Grand Montréal’s “Keep Kitchens Open” initiative. The goal of partnering with award-winning chefs was to unite industry players and create solidarity among chefs, by supporting each other and working together to promote local restaurants in order to get Montreal’s food scene back on the boil.
How do I order #ChefsàEmporter?
The list of top chefs is below and the dates of which they are making their special creation. You can order on uber eats or contact the weekly participant of #ChefsÀEmporter .
The chef collaborations are known (see below), however the specific dishes will only be revealed on the Monday that it goes “live”.

What creations will the guest chefs’ dish up for the event? That info is being kept under wraps until just before show time. But we do know this: from Chef Nicolas Dutertre’s mouth-watering, refined dessert created for Gentile Pizza Parlor, to chef Antonio Park’s bursting-at-the-seams submarine sandwich for Montreal’s famous Café Milano, there will be something to please every palate.

“I love this initiative because it highlights the importance of working together to help our local food scene survive these unprecedented times,” says Thomas Delannoy, CEO Chefs Canada, the organization that manages some of our national culinary teams, including the Canadian

Bocuse d’Or. “We have award-winning chefs standing shoulder-to-shoulder with family style restaurants, private chefs, and independent restaurants, working toward the common goal of saving the local food scene, for the benefit of all.”
This initiative will transform the habits of loyal customers by offering them an opportunity to sample dishes prepared by top chefs, while continuing to support their favourite restaurants at a time when “buying local” has become essential.
According to Guillaume Dubois, CEO, Sysco Grand Montréal, “Since 2019, more than 2300 restaurants in the province of Quebec have gone out of business, i.e. 10% of the restaurant industry. That’s why Sysco is committed to creating unique opportunities such as this initiative, to help small, independent restaurants that are struggling to survive in these challenging times.”
