Dining under the stars – As we approach our second month of lock down for restaurants and bars, some restaurants have taken the dinning experience to a different level.

Where can I go out for dinner?

Auberge Saint-Antoine in Quebec city with the launch of their new private pop-up outdoor dining concept in heated mini greenhouses on the museum hotel’s room and suite terraces. Available as of last Friday, the 13th of November. The concept is a safe way to extend summer patio season into the colder months and allows guests to enjoy everything from dining under the stars, afternoon hot chocolate, mulled wine, and tea, or a lavish breakfast. Enjoy a romantic candle lit dinner for two in a cozy private “pod” or bring your quarantine crew for an intimate family or friends gathering in a larger greenhouse seating 4-5 guests. The clear polycarbonate panels are strung with lights for an unforgettable experience under a stary night with views of the St. Lawrence river, Chateaux Frontenac, Vieux Quebec and inner courtyard, all the while comfortable and sheltered. The Dining Under the Stars experience is available for overnight stays every day while the dinner package is only proposed on weekdays.

Dining under the stars: The weekday dining package includes a 3-course dinner and cocktails for two in a pop-up private heated mini greenhouse on the terrace, a bottle of wine, service, and indoor parking. Available Sunday-Thursday for $275 for two.

Stars and Pillows: For those wanting to escape overnight, the Relais & Chateaux boutique hotel is offering a private dining experience + an overnight stay for two people in a beautifully appointed room with breakfast, a 3-course dinner in the outdoor dining greenhouse including welcome cocktails, a bottle of wine and service, indoor parking, and a welcome amenity. Rates start at $475 CAD plus taxes on weekdays and $525 on weekends. Panoramic Suite starting at $795 during week and $845 on weekends. There will also be a Champagne & Oysters overnight package option including one night accommodation, a bottle of champagne and 12 oysters, outdoor breakfast for two in the greenhouse, indoor parking, service and an in room welcome amenity starting at $390 plus taxes per night during the week and $440 on the weekends.
