AC Hotel Montreal Centre-Ville

AC HOTELS by Marriott, a design-led European lifestyle hotel brand from Marriott International, debuted in Canada last week with the opening of AC Hotel Montreal Centre-Ville, offering unmistakable urban spirit and blending contemporary design with cosmopolitan sophistication. AC HOTELS by Marriott Montreal Centre-Ville adds to the brands growing global portfolio of more than 120 hotels across Europe, South America and North America. Located in the heart of downtown Montreal on Boulevard Rene-Levesque, just steps away from the Quartier des Spectacles. Toronto Times visited the property the day of the inauguration.

The first AC Hotel in Canada opened in Montreal

AC Hotel Montreal Centre-Ville is a brand-new hotel located on the first twelve floors of a 35 -story dual-use high-rise that also includes luxury apartments on Rene-Levesque boulevard. The hotel has been designed with creative, well-traveled, entrepreneurial spirits in mind. The property offers 169 sleek oversized guest rooms with hardwood floors, large walk-in showers, floor to ceiling windows, and 50-inch HDTV featuring HBO. The hotel offers only two room types : standard (one king/two queens) or suites, all very wide, comfortable and very minimalist. The philosophy of AC Hotels is : “if an item isn’t an absolute necessity in the room, it doesn’t belong”.

The rooms at AC Hotels are very minimalist

Toronto Times truly enjoyed the new AC Hotel by Marriott. The night average rate will range for 199$-350$, the location is hard to beat, the views and amenities are great and the rooms are gorgeous, if you enjoy the minimalist look and feel. And we do.
