The City of Beaconsfield is pleased to announce that residents will now be able to view Council meetings live or on demand from its website: beaconsfield.ca. This new service will be available at the next meeting on Monday, January 28, 2019.
Through this broadcasting medium, citizens who are unable to attend Council meetings can now watch them live, wherever they are. “It is from a perspective of accessibility that we made the decision to offer residents live webcasting. We are very pleased to make this technology available to the public, “said Mayor Georges Bourelle.
To view a live Council meeting, residents can, 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting, connect to the communication platform via the City’s website. Each video will also be posted online and archived the day after it is held on beaconsfield.ca, to allow people to view them at the time of their choice.
Beaconsfield Council meetings are generally held monthly at 8:00 p.m., at City Hall. The Council meetings’ schedule, agendas and minutes can be found on the City’s website.
