The Montreal Police have been receiving calls about a bear roaming the West Island this Sunday afternoon. The bear has been seen in and around Pierrefonds and Dorval in the West Island of Montreal.
The Montreal Police alerted residents in the area to stay in their homes as they conducted a search of the area to pint point the location of the lost bear.
The bear has been tracked and cornered in a backyard. Animal services were called to help sedate the bear to release him away from residents.
