Monteral Alouettes To Serve Thanksgiving Dinner at Local Emergency Shelter

Montreal Alouettes to serve Thanksgiving dinner at local mission

For this Thanksgiving tradition, players from the Montreal Alouettes, including current Quarterback Coach Anthony Calvillo, will serve Thanksgiving dinner at Welcome Hall Mission’s Macaulay Emergency Centre.

This annual tradition dates back to 2004 and was started by Calvillo. This year members of the Vanier College Division 1 football team will join the Alouettes to serve dinner.

There will be three separate turkey dinner services (5:30 pm, 6:00 pm, 6:30 pm). Approximately 1000 Montrealers in need will be fed Thanksgiving meals over the course of the day.

Tents outside of the shelter will be available to take care of those waiting for the dinner service, serving them coffee & light snacks.

When: Monday, October 13 from 5:15 pm to 7pm

Where: Macaulay Emergency Shelter, 1490 St-Antoine West, H3C 1C3
