Montreal’s Youth Stars Launches High-Energy Black History School Tour City-Wide

Youth Stars, a Montreal-based non-profit organization dedicated to youth empowerment and education, is proud to launch its Black History School Tour, beginning Monday, February 2nd.

Hosted by media personality DJ Malik (Malik Shaheed), the tour delivers a powerful and engaging learning experience that goes far beyond the textbook. Through interactive storytelling, music, and open dialogue, students explore key topics including pre-colonial Black history, breaking stereotypes, the Truth about Hip Hop Culture, and the rich history of Little Burgundy, one of Canada’s first and most influential Black neighbourhoods.
