Stroll takes pole at Turkish GP

Lance Stroll had his best qualifying session today at the Turkish Grand Prix giving him pole position. This makes Stroll the 1st Canadian Driver to do so since Jacques Villeneuve in 1997.

Stroll beat Red Bull’s Max Verstappen by 0.3 seconds. “A special moment for me,” Lance Stroll said with excitement. “It is the highlight of my career. I can’t really put it into words, Im shocked. I nailed pretty much every corner and put it together.”

Stroll takes pole at Turkish GP

This years circuit has been up and down for Stroll. Stroll grabbed the second podium of his career at the Italian Grand prix back in September and has failed to finish three straight races. Lance Stroll is placed 13th overall.
