The popular PBS kids show ‘Arthur’ has been announced the cancelation of the last show with the final episodes to air in 2022.
Bruce Dinsmore who was the voice actor for Bink/Dad voice tweeted he had recorded his last episode of the series.
24 years is a good run for a gig, & this is the face I made at the very last session. Binky though seems nonplussed, he’s always been tougher than me. And I was just starting to get the hang of the whole Dad thing… Thanks “Arthur” it’s been a great ride. “And I say Hey……!” pic.twitter.com/SHeWlTiuNf

Arthur is the second longest running animated series in TV American history, following the Simpsons.
Over the years there had been signs that the cartoon was coming to an end. The first 19 seasons had 10 shows per season. Then the next two seasons (20 and 21) there was seven episodes. The last four seasons had a total of three or four shows per season.
