Wali – World’s deadliest sniper from Montreal heads to Ukraine

Wali, a French Canadian from Montreal a computer scientist who has served twice in the Afghanistan war, Syria, Iraq and Kandahar has packed his rifle and is heading to the Ukraine as tone of the deadliest sniper in the world.

Ukraine President Volodymir Zeleski started asking for foreign soldiers to come and join the fight against Russia’s invasion of the Ukraine. Wali, didn’t miss a beat and signed up right away as part of the Canadian contingent.

The deadly Canadian sniper nicknamed ‘Wali‘ has record of the longest kill 3,540 meters.

A good sniper can kill on average 5 – 6 per day. A great sniper has an average of 7 – 10 kills per day. Wali, can kill up to 40 per day. These numbers are what why ‘Wali’ is the best in the world.

Most snipers like to keep their identity secret but Wali has appeared on TV and his face is known where ever he goes. This is why the Ukrainian and world press have made such a big deal of him arriving in the Ukrainian yesterday.

Wali, a Montrealer, was given his nickname by the Afghan people, meaning protector in Arabic.

Wali was part of the Canadian Royal 22e Regiment during his fighting days in the 2010’s and now is a computer scientist.

In a CBC interview Wali said, “They are so happy to have us. It’s like we were friends right away. I want to help them. It’s as simple as that. I have to help because they are people here being bombed because they want to be European and not Russian. A week ago I was still programming stuff. Now I’m grabbing anti-tank missiles in a warehouse to kill real people… That’s my reality right now.”
