Parc Omega has successful summer

A Spectacular Fall Ahead with ONIRO

MONTEBELLO, Tuesday, September 16, 2025 – As the summer season draws to a close, Parc Omega is wrapping up the most successful summer in its history. With a 25% increase in attendance compared to July and August of last year – which was already an exceptional year – and nearly 100% occupancy for its accommodations, summer 2025 has further cemented the wildlife park’s status as a must-visit nature tourism destination in Québec.

The 12-kilometre drive-through trail, which allows visitors to observe over twenty species of wild animals primarily from North America, the growing popularity of its unique lodging options, and the new ONIRO night walk have all contributed significantly to this record-breaking attendance.

“We’re extremely pleased with the season and especially proud of the launch of the ONIRO walking trail, which played a major role in the exceptional summer we just experienced,” said Ivan Parisien, spokesperson for Parc Omega. “This new activity adds a unique nighttime dimension to our destination and allows us to reach a broader audience. In the fall, we expect even more families due to earlier nightfall and evening start times.”

Launched in June, the ONIRO night walk quickly captured the public’s interest, attracting thousands of visitors from Québec and beyond. Good news for those who haven’t yet experienced it: the show continues this fall, and even into the winter!

The 1-kilometre walking trail features 17 immersive scenes combining animated projections, soundscapes, lighting design, and bilingual narration to tell the moving story of a lost young wolf named Oniro. A contemplative and spectacular experience that enchants both young and old.

In addition to the new ONIRO trail, Parc Omega continues to offer all of its regular activities this fall — one of the best times of the year to experience Québec’s wildlife and foliage at their finest. Flaming red and orange leaves, wild animals during seasonal changes, and the powerful calls of deer during rutting season… Nature puts on a breathtaking show at every turn.

Open every day of the year, the park offers a complete experience to fully enjoy the season: drive-through safari, hiking trails, animal presentations, picnic areas, an old farm, unique lodging options, and its OmegaBon restaurant, which serves delicious dishes featuring local ingredients. A perfect getaway for families and nature lovers.

Located in Montebello, in the Outaouais region, Parc Omega is a premier Quebec attraction where visitors can discover a wide variety of wild animals in their natural habitat throughout the seasons. Set on 2,200 acres of preserved nature, the park features a 12-kilometre drive-through trail where about 20 species—including elk, bears, bison, and wolves—roam freely. Since 1991, the park has combined nature, conservation, and education through trails, seasonal activities, and wildlife presentations. Famous for its unique accommodations—especially cabins that allow guests to sleep near wolves—Parc Omega also offers panoramic chalets, pods, and ready-to-camp options for extended stays.

The experience is further enhanced by the OmegaBon restaurant, which serves meals made with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. www.parcomega.ca
