Jeff Bezos stepping down – The founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos has decided to throw in the towel as CEO. Bezos has been CEO since he started the company with his ex-wife almost 30 years ago.
The divorce cost the richest man in the world $150 billion.
Amazon released a statement that the new CEO replacing Jeff Bezos will be Andy Jassy. Jassy will be starting his new role as CEO in the Fall of 2021.
Jeff Bezos will stay on as Amazon’s executive chairman.
