For the second year in a row, Notre Boeuf de Grâce restaurants will offer a specially created burger in support of Welcome Hall Mission throughout the month of February. For every Mission Burger served, Notre Boeuf de Grâce will donate one to feed the organization’s clients.
We invite the public to show their support for those who find themselves in a difficult situation and to take advantage of the reopening of the restaurants by savouring a delicious Mission Burger, garnished with pesto, cheddar cheese and bacon, and topped off with a potato latke. The potato patty is a tribute to two generous donors who recently gave Welcome Hall Mission over 50,000 kilograms of Prince Edward Island potatoes. This gesture not only avoided loss and waste for the producers, but was also a welcome addition to the 1,200 or so meals prepared daily in the Welcome Hall Mission kitchens and to over 3,000 people who receive free groceries each week.
“The Notre Boeuf de Grâce team was inspired once again by the everyday heroes who are our 160 employees and 400 volunteers and chose to spoil our clients at the same time. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for repeating this generous and personalized gesture in support of our mission to love, feed and shelter,” said Sam Watts, CEO of Welcome Hall Mission.
The burgers are available at all Notre Boeuf de Grâce locations: Notre-Dame de Grâce, downtown, Ville St-Laurent, le Village, le Plateau, Pointe Claire, Laval, Terrebonne, Saint Jérôme, and Blainville.
