Montreal will host the 6th edition of the Montreal International Portugal Festival (MIPF), in the Portuguese neighbourhood (Rachel and St-Urban streets) from June 14th to 16th, 2019.

The most representative gathering of the Portuguese speaking countries and the most striking in the promotion of Portuguese language and culture in Montreal. Thanks to its former colonies (Brazil, Goa, Angola, Mozambique, Cabo Verde, Guine-Bissau, São Tome e Príncipe and Macao), Portuguese language ranks 5th in the world’s most widely spoken mother tongues and 3rd in the international communication languages ranking, after Spanish and English. For the sake of sustainability of Portuguese-speaking cultures and the Portuguese language that unites them, with the desire to contribute to intercultural reconciliation and with proud to share our cultural heritage with all Montrealers, we bring you the biggest Portuguese speaking festival in Montreal.
