Maddy K’s Bridal Boudoir is back this year and, for the first time ever, brides-to-be and their friends and families will be hosted in the historic Theatre St. James. Montreal’s foremost event architect, Maddy has, once again, assembled a highly-curated collection of the best vendors in the city to present to you a glimpse of all the elements needed for the perfect wedding or any other unforgettable party: food, drinks, photography, video, decor, flowers, fashion, jewellery and more.

The experts in the field are the first to endorse the Bridal Boudoir Affair. It has been an absolute pleasure to have been a part of Bridal Boudoir for the past 10 years. Weddingbells and Mariage Quebec have been supporters of the show since its inception and Maddy outdoes herself year after year, always putting together an incredible, immersive experience for couples featuring the best-of-the-best in the business. It’s impossible not to be inspired by the show and we are thrilled to be a part of the 10th anniversary Bridal Boudoir! – Alison McGill, Editor-in-Chief, Weddingbells; Editorial Director, Mariage Quebec

The best part about being involved in the Bridal Boudoir has been watching it, and Maddy’s businesses, grow while I’ve grown my business. I’m proud to have launched Brahm Mauer Bar Services at the first BBA and to have been there every year since. Now that we’re celebrating 10 years together I can promise you that we’ll have some special cocktails for all of the guests to try.- Brahm Mauer, owner/operator Brahm Mauer Bar Services

It’s been 10 years that Bridal Boudoir has allowed me a platform to introduce and showcase my catering and styling business in an uber creative forum, putting me face to face with future clients and opening the doors to many business opportunities I didn’t even know were possible. I am grateful to Maddy for continuously raising the events bar and allowing so many of us to creatively shine through. – Nicolina Servello, owner Nicolina Servello Styling/Hopkins restaurant

This year’s setting is ornate, grandiose and part of the city’s history: It was built between 1907 and 1909. The building itself will no doubt provide inspiration for brides and anyone planning a gathering. Co-owner Luisa Sassano tells the story of their involvement “When Maddy first approached us to be the new home of the Bridal Boudoir Affair, we simply could not refuse: it was an obvious match. Formerly the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, the St-James Theatre has since been transformed into one of Montreal’s most prestigious multi-purpose event spaces. Located in the heart of Old Montreal, its towering columns, soaring ceiling and rich history make for a unique and stunning wedding venue. We have had many occasions to work with wedding planner extraordinaire Maddy K, including at our sister-venue, the Rialto Theatre, and are continually impressed by her creativity and taste. We look forward to seeing what she has put together for this year’s Bridal Boudoir Affair at the

St-James Theatre.”

One of the highlights of the Bridal Boudoir has always been the fashion show. This year’s show will be produced by the highly in-demand artistic director, Hans Koechling of The Image Is… who has been producing shows for luxury fashion houses such as Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Valentino, Diane Von Furstenberg, DSquared, Agent Provocateur, Zac Posen, Romona Keveza, and many others. This year’s theme, Modern Luxury, presents the elegant dresses of Galleria Della Sposa, Di Carlo Couture, White Montreal, La Crème de la Crème, La Vie en Rose. Expect a wide range of looks, including the whimsical, the romantic and the destination wedding to creative one-of-a-kind designs and high-end designer looks, everything that the bride of today dreams of.

Bring your friends and spend the day discovering the latest trends and sample the food and drink that is in abundance at every BBA. This year’s vendors include: Celebrations Group and Gala Design and we can guarantee that you’ll leave the Bridal Boudoir Affair inspired by everything that you see and sample!

With Maddy on board with your dream wedding or other special event (engagement party, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, baby shower, christening, anniversary, birthday) you can leave the details to her. The Maddy K Atelier space in Ville Saint Laurent can accommodate any large celebration and her exclusive Black Book of contacts is the shortcut to every important contact that you need, backed up by years of first-hand experience. Each bride-to-be attending the BBA will leave with this brand new Black Book.
