La Ronde opens in a few days, Québec’s leading destination for thrills and family entertainment, will launch its 2022 season on May 21. This year will feature new dining options, the park’s historic line up of thrill rides and roller coasters, the return of kids’ shows with Ribambelle and the world’s most prestigious fireworks competition, L’International des Feux Loto-Québec.

“We are excited to offer diverse, park-wide experiences to our guests all season long and to bring back Montréal’s most beloved summer tradition,L’International des Feux Loto-Québec,” said Park President Sophie Emond. “Our main focus is elevating the guest experience with our new food offerings and our thrilling attractions.” 

Montreal Fireworks

Montrealers’ favourite attraction park will open to full capacity, with no vaccine passport, no reservation requirements.

Highlights of the 2022 season:

DELICIOUS, NEW FOOD OFFERINGS

No park visit is complete without classic eats like juicy burgers, popcorn and cotton candy. To satisfy the cravings of guests of all ages, La Ronde has some new dining options.

L’Aquabar
This brand new concession will be the new destination for guests who want to be swept up by waves of coastal foods and a vast variety of beers and fun cocktails. The Aqua Bar will also offer freshly squeezed lemonade, fish and chips as well as loaded waffle fries. 

Arirang
The Korean-style hot dog, a popular local street food, is coming to La Ronde. Made with sausage-in-rice dough, the hot dog is coated in batter with several topping variations including mozzarella, potatoes or ramen noodles. Those wanting smaller bites can find a happy alternative with croquettes.

La Centrale Burger & Frites 
The family-friendly restaurant is reinventing its classic burger with a 100% fresh Canadian ground chuck beef patty on a brioche bun with melted cheese and fresh toppings. Other options include the mouth-watering double BBQ burger made with bacon and beer battered onion rings.

La Halte Gourmande 
Located in the Fort Edmonton, the popular indoor dining restaurant is reopening its seating area. It will also expand its culinary options with freshly roasted rotisserie chicken added to the menu as well as introduce a variety of coffees from Café Van Houtte and new premium sandwich selections at Station 6.

TECHNOLOGY AND MOBILE APP UPGRADES

Mobile Food Ordering
The park will offer Mobile Food Ordering at a variety of locations via the Six Flags app. Guests can avoid lines and enjoy their favourite theme park food by experiencing a more convenient and efficient way to get their meal. This option will be available later in the season.

Q SMART Technology – To improve the guest experience through enhanced ride line speed and efficiency, La Ronde will transition its’ THE FLASH™ Pass Q-bot to mobile Q SMART technology. From the convenience of a mobile phone and the ease of an app, with the touch of a button guests will be able to maximize their time in the park, spending less time waiting in line and more time enjoying rides, dining, shopping, and entertainment.

THE 2022 EVENT LINEUP

L’International des Feux Loto-Québec 
The world’s leading fireworks competition is back! Once again, the skies over Montreal will serve as the backdrop to one of the most spectacular fireworks events in the world. The 36th edition of L’International des Feux Loto-Québec (IFLQ) is running from June 25 to August 6.

New Ribambelle shows
Family-friendly entertainment is back at La Ronde. The popular mascot Ribambelle and her friends The Z’s will return to the stage to perform brand new shows to delight the kids all season-long. From June 25 to August 24, and on August 27, 28 and September 3, 4 and 5, six times a day on Ribambelle’s stage.

Les Soirées Techno
Following last year’s success, La Ronde is bringing back Les Soirées Techno in September. This special event for guests 18+, will feature DJs and live entertainment. Most rides will be open to guests with the exception of the children’s rides at Pays de Ribambelle.

Halloween Fright Fest
La Ronde celebrates Halloween for nine days starting October 8, including all weekends and Thanksgiving Day. This year’s Fright Fest – which is assuredly the most frightening of its kind in Quebec – features major attractions and scary characters including zombies, demons and vampires.

Introducing a New Pass Program

New in 2022, La Ronde announces a three-tiered Pass Program focused on maximizing the value and experience for guests. The Adrénaline Pass is perfect for frequent home park visitation. The Êxtreme Pass is ideal for live-on-the-edge thrills all season, with access to all Six Flags parks. TheSuprême Pass provides the best value for everything offered — it includes all of the benefits of an Extrême Pass, plus more!
